Trinket box for a little pricess

I made this trinket box – a very feminine one – for a little princess. I have used MDF box and decorated it with pink pattern papers, decoupaged it and gave final finish with lace, pearls and handmade paper flowers. Let me show you how it turned out.

Baby album for a boy

Let me show you what I was working on for the past few days… A baby album :D

I had to make it for a boy (it’s always difficult for me to make anything for a male gender ;) ) but apparently this has come out well ;) . Have a look…

The bottle comes out of its case to put the details of the baby … another one of my fav from this album :)

Binder Clip Photo Stands

I have been gifting a lot of handmade things to friends but it’s been a while since I made anything for hubby. When I saw binder clip photo stand on lulupu.com today, made by Snehal, I thought I can make one for hubby. Then I could find lots of similar videos on youtube.

See what I came up with…

Photo will go where pink heart is.

Isn’t it totally awesome?! Hubby totally loved it.

Materials I used:

2″binder clip
Patterned paper for base
Plain papers for flower, leaves and tags
Scallop punch – ek success
Flower and leaf punches
Butterfly stamp (have no clue which brand, it’s a wood mounted stamp I found in my stash)
Coffee and black colour inkpads
Twine
A button
PVA glue

That’s all I guess :-)

Ciao,

~Sakhi

Update:

I made another one in the morning…

Hubby grabbed this one too… :D

Another birthday card made this weekend. This one is for a pre-teen girl who loves colours. This time I used some bright crepe papers and foam sheet apart from standard card-stock, stamp and inks. Have a look…
