We crafters buy so many embellishments and they are sooooo costly. Stick pins are one of them. I thought why not make some myself and I came up with some matching stick pins for my projects. See what I made with some beads and wire
Hope you like it.
Happy crafting. Ciao…
Exhibition is just a few days away and I am churning out things like crazy. Enjoying every bit of it too
I was thinking of posting new stuff after sometime but couldn’t stay away for long
Now without further ado… Here’s the explosion box I made recently
Hope you like it
I just wanted to say hi to you all and wanted to share what I am upto these days
As you already know about my upcoming exhibition, let me show you my work tabke right now.
Too much mess na?!
But trust me I am working, not just taking pics and making mess. Here’s the sneak peek to my latest work. Will post full details once I am done with exhi.
Hope you like it.
Everyone at home is asleep… I must finish what I started. Good night peeps…
I am gearing up for an exhibition and so crafting away to glory. These days there just papers and tools everywhere around me. If I am not working I am crafting
I have made a mini for the upcoming exhibition. Let me show you how it has turned out.
photo place and tags
Instead if using ribbons for individual tag, I used a brad and tied all the tags together
One more layout... check the cute envi there
That's the last page
That’s all peeps. Hope you like this mini. Thanks for stopping by.
I have been gifting a lot of handmade things to friends but it’s been a while since I made anything for hubby. When I saw binder clip photo stand on lulupu.com today, made by Snehal, I thought I can make one for hubby. Then I could find lots of similar videos on youtube.
See what I came up with…
Photo will go where pink heart is.
Isn’t it totally awesome?! Hubby totally loved it.
Materials I used:
Patterned paper for base
Plain papers for flower, leaves and tags
Scallop punch – ek success
Flower and leaf punches
Butterfly stamp (have no clue which brand, it’s a wood mounted stamp I found in my stash)
Coffee and black colour inkpads
That’s all I guess
I made another one in the morning…
Hubby grabbed this one too…
I saw this super cool journal online: “Wreck This Journal” by Keri Smith. I liked it so much that I wanted it but did not want to buy it, instead I went ahead and made one for myself and a friend. Have a look…
I started with this ordinary notebook from Classmate with plain pages
I decoupaged the front and the back cover pages with the pieces of newspaper (arrow is to show decoupage)
I painted even the inner cover pages (back and front) with acrylic colours (arrow to show the painted page)
These are just the sample pages of the journal. I have used some of the ideas from the original journal but I din’t like a lot of them too. So came up with my own version. It was tough to do that but was fun too
It took me almost a week to complete both these journals. I posted one to my friend today morning. Hope she likes it. I will have to make one for myself again since Cub liked mine so much that she flicked it away…
Hope both the girls enjoy journalling and let themselves free with imagination.
It was a challenge to use orange and green together. I thought the card would look quite gaudy but I like the way it turned out. Have a look…

Another birthday card made this weekend. This one is for a pre-teen girl who loves colours. This time I used some bright crepe papers and foam sheet apart from standard card-stock, stamp and inks. Have a look…
And in this last pic you can hv a sneak peek into another card I made
There are a few more posts on cards to come. Keep an eye on this blog…
Entering it to BCG #13
For a while now I wanted to have a scoreboard of good quality. I came across a good deal on RUCRAFT where I could get “Crafter’s Companion” scoreboard AND an enveloper too. It arrived today from UK… Yay…
Have a look…
It came packed well (I was a little apprehensive) and this is how the products look. These surely are going to reduce a of trouble for me when I craft.
Cool, hun?! I am quite happy…
